As per Governor Inslee’s directions, Snuffin’s Catering will suspend daily business operations until the current crisis is over. Our kitchen is closed for now. Any remaining fresh products will be donated to our local food bank.
Our office will continue to be monitored from home. Both email and phone will be checked regularly.
The best way to contact us will be via email@example.com. If you have a pressing question, you may call 253-318-0125 and Annie will reply promptly.
Our goal is to practice all safety requirements to keep our staff healthy, conserve resources and be ready to resume business when the crisis is past. Our staff is on standby status so they will retain their jobs and be ready to again serve our valued clients when the time is right.
Please, please, practice social distancing, wash your hands frequently, sanitize areas touched by others, help neighbors and friends and stay at home if you can.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support in this difficult time for our State and Country.

What Happens to the Food if an Event is Canceled?

MOST OFTEN ASKED QUESTION: What happens to the food if an event is postponed or canceled?
Snuffin’s Catering donates the food to a hot meal site such as Nativity House or Tacoma Rescue Mission. They have the kitchen equipment, refrigeration, etc. to serve and/or store quantities of prepared food and supplies.
Particularly at an uncertain time like now, we all must help provide for those in most need!
Sanitation to Protect our Clients and Staff

After being in the food service business for over 40 years, Snuffin’s Catering has always been proactive in proper sanitation practices. Both our kitchen and event staff are trained to properly wash hands as well as the correct use of protective gloves.

Perfect Choice for our Winter Wedding
Snuffin’s Catering provided us with an excellent experience throughout our entire wedding process. After our initial consultation with Cherie, she provided us with recommendations and cost saving options to help keep us within our budget. On the wedding day, they provided excellent service to our guests and helped us to have a seamless dinner experience. Our guest loved the food they served. Snuffin’s also helped us to put on a spiked hot chocolate and coffee bar which our guests really enjoyed. It is easy to see why they are a preferred caterer for our wedding venue. We experienced no issues at all with Snuffin’s Catering, and I recommend them to anyone in the Seattle area.

Snuffins did an amazing job catering our wedding! Their process was seamless and Sharon always responded to my questions as quickly as possible. The day of the wedding, there were several servers and bartenders and they were dressed very professionally. We even had a dedicated server just for the two of us! We decided to go with their salmon and beef shortribs. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the shortribs were so tender. I also wanted to surprise my now husband with a special meal and asked Sharon if it was possible. She had no issues with it and he was surprised! At the end of the night, they even gave us a take home basket with a small sample of each of the different foods. Highly recommend hiring Snuffins! You will not regret it!

Funds raised go to purchase nutritious food for Pierce County food banks and hot meal sites. for every $1 donated, EFN leverages that to $12 worth of food.

1. 54% of the people EFN serves are children and seniors.

Tips for the Newly Engaged:

Exciting times! Tears and beaming smiles. Sometimes, a bit of a panic!
What to do first? Even before picking a specific date, check out the venues you like and see what is available during your preferred time of year. The most highly sought venues book more than a year in advance. For unique dates (like 8-18-2018), they may book 2 years in advance!
If your first choice in date or venue is not available, consider Fridays and Sundays. Those days book after prime days and the rental often costs less than a Saturday. Most venues also have much lower rental costs if a weekday will work for you. Especially when many guests will be traveling to your wedding, a weekday can be a great choice – giving your guests extra time to do some sightseeing while in the NW.
In addition to looking for a venue that has dates available, consider some practicalities:
-are tables and chairs included in the rental?
-is there free and/or adequate parking?
-do you need wheelchair access?
-can you choose your vendors, or do you have to use those from the venue?
-can you provide your own alcoholic beverages?
-what are the costs for rental for additional hours?
Before booking any venue, be sure to check out their reviews on impartial websites like The Knot, Wedding Wire or Yelp.
