Snuffin’s Catering offers a wide range of menu options for all the important times of your life:  weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, seated dinner parties, buffet dinners,  fork suppers, appetizer receptions, picnics, bar and bat mitzvahs, funerals and memorial receptions, boat cruises…whenever you are celebrating and need outstanding food and service.

We serve the South Seattle, Renton, Kent and Auburn area, Tacoma and surrounding areas of Puyallup, Sumner and Gig Harbor, Olympia and the Kitsap Peninsula: Bremerton, Port Orchard, Silverdale and Poulsbo.

Full Service

For catered events with service staff, we offer a variety of menus plus seasonal specialties. You may choose one of the menus listed, or a custom menu created just for your event. As full service caterers, we are happy to coordinate all the arrangements for you: rental of dishes, flatware and glassware, tables, chairs and linens, floral arrangements and design services, entertainment, bartenders and party staff.

Appetizers, box lunches, buffet lunches and dinners, funeral or memorial receptions, appetizer buffets, picnics – all are available for delivery or take out.  Our professional event planners will assist you in choosing just exactly what you will need for your special event.

We have outstanding menus to fit all catering budgets. Please remember that you are welcome to make substitutions or additions to any of our menus. All pricing is based per guest on a 100 guest minimum.  Pricing for smaller groups is available.  Remember, we’re always happy to create custom menus. Seated Dinners

Each of our formal dinner menus are custom designed using the freshest seasonal ingredients to perfectly fit your tastes and preferences.

Seated dinners have one or two entree choices with accompanying side dishes, vegetables and breads. Desserts, salads and appetizers vary as to your particular needs. We usually serve appetizers butler-style prior to dinner for an elegant touch. A complete list of menu options for seated dinners can be found here.

Menu suggestions are suitable for small intimate dinners in private homes and for larger events in locations that have kitchen facilities. Prices for elegant seated meals will vary by menu, seasonality and market prices. In general, small dinner parties with several courses will begin at $80.00 – $95.00 per guest, plus catering staff. International Action Stations

Whether a cocktail party or wedding reception, your guests will enjoy the opportunity to participate in the Action of their food being prepared right in front of their eyes!  The freshest ingredients, prepared to order by our trained culinary staff will be sure to please you and your guests.

Interactive food stations add excitement and flow to your event. Stations allow your guests to mingle and interact with our culinary specialists.

Choose three Action Station to serve as a meal for your guests. Depending on how many guests you are anticipating, you may need more than one of the same station or you could add another station to the menu.

One or two stations may be added to a traditional buffet to enhance a theme or to provide for dietary restrictions such as vegan or gluten-free diets.

Snuffin’s Action Stations are designed for a minimum of 50 guests. Large groups can easily be accommodated by an increased number of stations and/or locations of stations.

Social Picnics

Picnic food is perfect for wedding rehearsal dinners in the backyard, family reunions, birthday parties, graduation parties and any time you just want to have fun with you family and friends!

Smaller groups may want to simply pick up or have the food delivered, ready to be served. If you have a larger group, or really don’t want to have to do all the work, we are happy to provide service staff to grill, set up and refill the buffet, then do all the clean up and leave your kitchen sparkling clean.

Considerations

We ask for a $1000.00 deposit to confirm your date. One half the projected event total is due one month in advance, and your confirmed minimum guest count is requested 7 days in advance. This number may be increased but not decreased. Final payment is due upon receipt of invoice. A 18.5% service charge will be added to all full service catering, as well as Washington State sales tax.

All Hamburger and Hot Dog and Flank Steak menus require a grill (or grills depending on the number of guests attending). We will be happy to arrange for rental and delivery for you. Children under 10 are at reduced prices!

Staffing costs depend on your menu, location and length of your picnic.

Funeral and Memorial Catering

Receptions following funerals or memorial services range from simple coffee, punch and cookies for an hour at the funeral home or a light lunch of finger food for a stand up reception, to a full buffet meal with staff and beverages.

Simple Funeral Reception Menus

These menus are suitable for a stand-up funeral reception at the church or funeral home. They are easy to eat and are suitable to be served on disposable plates if preferred. You do not need serving staff unless you have a large number of guests. If so, you may choose to have servers come to set up and clean up so you will not have to worry and can spend time with family and friends.
