Sharon Snuffin, President and Owner
Growing up in Gig Harbor, Sharon’s degree from Washington State University prepared her for teaching Home Economics for several years before marrying and starting her family. With her husband, Dan, Snuffin’s Catering was born 43 years ago in a log cabin converted into a commercial kitchen. (Really!) 22 years later, the larger kitchen, offices and warehouse were built. At home, Sharon enjoys traveling, spending time in her large organic garden, reading mysteries and cooking for her extended family. Another Seahawks fan!
Annie Butcher, General Manager
First hired as a server, Annie quickly advanced from Party Supervisor to Event Planner to General Manager during the 30 years she has been with our company. She brings positive energy and passion to her role serving our clients. Time away is spent traveling in Europe, biking and spending time with her family. She is an amazing leader!
Chef Brian Nathanson
Has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the Culinary Arts Center in Cerritos, California and has held Executive Chef positions for Catering by McCormick and Schmick’s, Sodexo, Special Events Catering, Intercontinental Hotel Group, The Tacoma Club and numerous other hotel and restaurant companies in Washington and California.
Outside of foodservice, Brian has worked as a professional musician in both studio and live performances and done sales in music publishing, the commercial photography business and as a licensed realtor. In his leisure hours, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, listening to music, cooking and creating new recipes and especially, fishing in the beautiful Puget Sound region.
Nick Snuffin, Operations Manager
Attended Central Washington University, working his way through school in the Hospitality Industry. He has worked in many fine dining establishments, a martini bar or two and started in the catering business in his teens. Moving back to Gig Harbor, he heads “the back of the house” of Snuffin’s as well as working events as a server and bartender. He is our trainer for grillers, carvers and bartenders. Spare time finds him gardening around his new home, watching sports, especially the Seahawks and spending time with his family.
